Wildlife Aid Foundation

The Wildlife Aid Foundation wanted a content-heavy site that could provide key information to their visitors, such as the services they provide and how they look after injured animals, alongside a store for merchandise and adoptions. This build was really fun as it was to aid a charity and ensured they can receive donations, as well as selling any products they needed.

At the time, this was built in collaboration with SANDBOX whom provided the design, using both Craft CMS (v4) and Craft Commerce, which I leveraged to handle both the content, products and adoptions. Alongside this, I then integrated a third-party service they used to manage donations. 

The site used a "block first" approach that allowed the team at Wildlife Aid Foundation to build out and scaffold pages using a library of blocks, with varying degrees of configuration. This is always great for the people doing content population as it does not require new development work constantly, only when they need something new or changing.

Using Craft Commerce allowed us to provide them with a solid commerce platform, integrate with their gateway of choice, and tailor the shipping solutions to each product.

This site has since been replaced, as they moved to another agency from SANDBOX, so I've removed the link to the site.
