Dotty Bridal

The Dotty Bridal website was developed using a combination of Craft CMS, faux-commerce, and Shopify (linked to the Point of Sale system) for their boutique store. This allowed me to build out a bespoke website for them whilst covering each area of their business.

The main part of the site required a content-heavy CMS site builder with a faux-commerce like flow - a directory of dresses, each with various details to allow filtering by brands, shape sizes, etc, whilst not directly allowing them to purchase without booking a visit with the boutique. This allows the company to show what dresses they offer, along with allowing the visitor to be able to filter them down at their own ease.

I then built in an integration with Shopify, utilising the Craft CMS add-on and a JavaScript front-end which creates and manages the baskets, which connects the boutique products they sell (such as branded candles, diffusers, or pajamas). This allows the customer to actively purchase these products through the site with ease, whilst also keeping stock up to date.
